This is one of three coffee tables designed by the Dutch designer/inventor Koos Verhoeff that I built in the early and mid 90s. He was a retired computer science professor from the University of Rotterdam whom I met at an art and mathematics conference at SUNY-Albany in 1992. Koos’s many clever designs and ingenious discoveries have been for me both educational and inspirational.
